MØ, real name Karen Marie Ørsted, is a Danish singer and songwriter who has taken the music world by storm with her unique blend of pop, electropop, and R&B.
Born and raised in Odense, Denmark, MØ began her musical career as a member of the punk band MOR before embarking on a solo career in 2012. She released her debut EP, Bikini Daze, in 2013, which included the hit single “Pilgrim”.
MØ quickly gained a loyal following thanks to her powerful vocals and distinctive style, which often includes brightly-colored hair and bold fashion choices. In 2014, she released her debut studio album, No Mythologies to Follow, which received critical acclaim and solidified her place in the Danish music scene.
